Education and training
Access to opioid pharmacotherapy training including:
- MATOD – run by the RACGP for GPs, Nurse Practitioners and eligible medical and health practitioners.
- Victorian Pharmacy Pharmacotherapy Training Program – run by PSA. Parts 1 and 2 conducted online or face-to-face
- Practice Manager Training – ORT and AOD. Face-to-face training for whole-of-practice support, including Medicare billing advice
- General Practice and pharmacy staff education and training, locally based. Includes:
- Community of Practice events delivered by AMS and other expert speakers. RACGP QI&CPD points apply
- Peer-based Small Group Learning meetings (QI activities) facilitated by AMS and experienced prescribers and pharmacists
