RACGP face-to-face MATOD training – Torquay

FreeThe Medication Assisted Treatment of Opioid dependence workshop is designed to support Victorian GPs to implement safe and effective opioid prescribing and to recognise, prevent and respond to problematic opioid abuse. The aim of the training is to provide prescribers with the skills and confidence to assess, manage and initiate patients on Opioid Replacement Therapy. The training is delivered by addiction medicine specialists who are experienced in prescribing and use this in their practice environment.
This workshop is in a hybrid format. This will consist of some self-paced, self-guided online learning and will be completed with a half day workshop.
The workshop is CPD Accredited under the RACGP CPD Program
– 5 hours Educational Activities (EA)
– 5 hours Reviewing Performance (RP)
The workshop runs from 9.00am – 2.00pm (lunch will be provided).
